Prof. Dr. Kubilay Ükinç, 20 Ekim 1973 yılında doğdu. 1997'de Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nden mezun olan Prof. Dr. Kubilay Ükinç, 2002 yılında Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi İç Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı'nda uzmanlık eğitimini tamamladı. 2006'da aynı üniversitede Endokrinoloji ve Metabolizma Hastalıkları Bilim Dalı'nda yan dal uzmanlığını yaptı. 2008 yılında girdiği Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nde Anabilim Dalı Başkanlığı, yönetim kurulu üyeliği, başhekim yardımcılığı, MYO müdürlüğü gibi çeşitli görevlerle 2011 yılına kadar çalıştı. Prof. Dr. Kubilay Ükinç, 2021 yılından bu yana İstinye Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi İç Hastalıkları AD’ında ve aynı zamanda Liv Hospital Vadi İstanbul Hastanesinde Endokrinoloji ve Metabolizma Hastalıkları / Diyabet Kliniği'nde hizmet vermektedir.
