Öykü Gönül Geyik, Ege Üniversitesi Biyokimya Bölümü’ndeki lisans eğitiminden 2011 yılında mezun olmuştur. Ardından Ege Üniversitesi, Tıbbi Biyokimya AD’de yüksek lisansını tamamlayan öğretim üyemiz, 2020 yılında Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi, Tıbbi Biyoloji ve Genetik AD’de doktorasını tamamlamıştır. Öykü Gönül Geyik, doktora tez çalışmalarının bir bölümünü National Cancer Institute (NIH, ABD) kurumlarında gerçekleştirmiştir.
