1976 yılında İstanbul'da doğdu. 1993 yılında Ahmet Şimşek Fen Lisesi'nden ve 1999 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nden mezun oldu. 2004 yılında Radyasyon Onkolojisi Anabilim Dalı'nda ihtisas eğitim programını tamamladı, 2012 yılında doçentlik, 2017 yılında profesörlüğünü aldı. ilgi stereotaktik radyoterapi, yoğunluk ayarlı radyoterapi, görüntü aracılığıyla radyoterapi, 3D brakiterapi ve 4D transrektal USG aracılığıyla yüksek doz hızlı prostat brakiterapidir. Meme, jinekolojik, ürolojik, baş-boyun ve jinekolojik kanserler başlıca araştırma alanlarıdır. Kocaeli Üniversitesi (2006-2009) ve İstanbul Üniversitesi Onkoloji Enstitüsü'nde (2009-2015) yardımcı doçent olarak çalıştı. Halen İstinye Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Radyasyon Onkolojisi Anabilim Dalı ve Liv Hospital Ulus, Radyasyon Onkoloji Anabilim Dalı'nda profesör ve anabilim dalı başkanı olarak görev yapmaktadır. Türkiye Radyasyon Onkolojisi Derneği, ASTRO, ESTRO ve ASCO üyesidir. İngilizce ve Türkçe bilmektedir.
