Lisans eğitimini Selçuk Üniversitesi Fen Fakültesi Biyoloji Bölümü’nde 2002 yılında bölüm ikincisi olarak tamamlayan Muradiye ACAR, yüksek Lisansını 2005 yılında, Doktorasını (PhD) 2012 yılında Selçuk Üniversitesi Tıbbi Genetik programında tamamlamıştır. 2011-2015 yılları arasında MIT tarafından düzenlenen iGEM (International genetically engineered machines) yarışmasından kazandığı 4 altın ve 1 gümüş madalyası bulunmaktadır. Dr. Acar’ın çok sayıda uluslararası yayını mevcuttur. Projelerde yürütücülük ve araştırmacılık yapmıştır. Tıbbi Genetik Derneği, MOKAD ve EACR üyesidir. Dr. Acar 2018 yılından itibaren İstinye Üniversitesi, Tıp Fakültesi, Tıbbi Genetik Anabilim Dalı’nın akademik kadrosunda yer almaktadır.
