Zeynep Atam Taşdemir was born in 1977. She graduated from Istanbul Fatih Girls' High School in 1994 and Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine in 2000. Between 2002-2006, she completed her residency training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis. She worked as a Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis Specialist at SBU Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital between April 2007 and October 2021. She has been working at İstinye University Bahçeşehir Liv Hospital since November 2021. Since 2013, she has been a member of the board of directors and secretary of the Tobacco Control Group of the Turkish Respiratory Research Association. She has been a lecturer at many congresses and symposiums and participated in the establishment and development of a smoking cessation outpatient clinic. Her clinical areas of interest are COPD, asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, interstitial lung diseases are clinical areas of interest.
