Nazife Berna Tander,  Prof.

Berna Tander M.D graduated from Ege University Medical School in 1996. She completed her residency in Okmeydanı Research and Education Hospital in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation ( PM&R) in 2002. She attended as an assistant professor at Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) in the department of PM&R between 2002-2010. She passed the associate professor examination in 2010 and attended associate professor in the same department. She studied as a research scholar at the Rehabilitation Institue of Michigan, Detroit, MI between 2006-2007 and at Columbia University in 2009. She passed European Board Certification Exam in 2010 and studied at the rehabilitation institution of Gulhane Medical Academy in Ankara in 2011. She attended as a full professor in OMU department of PM&R in 2016 and afterward Acıbadem University in 2017. She is a professor of PM&R in Istinye University Medical Faculty Liv Hospital Istanbul since 2021. Her main interests are fibromyalgia, pain management, orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation, and hand rehabilitation. She has more than 80 medical articles in national and international journals and more than 1400 citations in these articles.
