Gratuated as an M.D. from İstanbul University, Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine in 1992. After graduation, he worked as a G.P. for the Department Health’s state hospitals between 1993 – 1995. He completed his specialty residency at Sağlık Bilimleri University, Kartal Training and Research Hospital in 2002. During his residency, he worked as an observer fellow on chronic disease management at the Primary Care Medical Center of UCSD (U.S.A.). After residency, he worked at the both pediatric oncology and internal medicine – diabetes outpatient clinics of Sağlık Bilimleri University, Kartal Training and Research Hospital. He established the hypertension clinic at the hospital and studied on risk management in cardiometabolic diseases. He had the opportunity to work as a visiting researcher at the University of Washington and Beijing University People’s Hospital; and worked as a visiting staff, assistant professor at Yeditepe University. He had degrees as Family Counselor from Marmara University and B.A. from Anadolu University. He worked as Associate Professor of Family Medicine at Sağlık Bilimleri University, Kartal Training and Research Hospital until 2019. He published and contributed to many studies in scientific journals, conference papers and textbooks. He’s been the Head of the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical School of İstinye University and working at the İstinye University’s Bahçeşehir Liv Hospital since 2019.
