Gülsüm Gençoğlan,  Prof.

Professor Dr. Gulsum Gencoglan graduated from Çukurova University, School of Medicine in 1999 and completed her residency at Ege University School of Medicine Dermatovenereology Clinic between 2000-2005. She has also held positions as a visiting professor at the Melanoma Institute Hillman Cancer Center, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh in 2015, and She also attended a Basic Oncology Ph.D. at Dokuz Eylul University, Institute of Oncology. Previously, Dr. Gencoglan worked as an attending dermatologist at the Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Dermatology between 2008-2021. She established Cosmetology Research Center at Celal Bayar University in 2015. Since 2021, she has been an attending dermatologist at Liv Hospital Vadi, and Professor of Dermatology at Istinye University Faculty of Medicine. Prof. Dr. Gulsum Gencoglan is an active member of national and international Dermatooncology and Dermoscopy Associations. Her clinical and academic interests include skin cancers, dermoscopy, stem cell therapy, nail and hair disease, and inflammatory skin diseases. She also studies deep learning, artificial intelligence in skin disease, molecular cancer, and stem cell research. She has several cited publications on these topics.
