After completing her secondary and high school education in Bornova Anatolian High School and her university education in Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Beril Uğurnal completed her specialization in Basic and Clinical Biochemistry in Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine, Biochemistry Department. After the specialization, she conducted various studies with immune system cells at Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine. She received PhD diploma with the thesis of "Lipid peroxidation and antioxidant system in T-Lymphocytes." Between 1997-2008, she worked as a manager in R&D laboratories in the Turkish, American and British Pharmaceutical industries and served as chief auditor in the central clinical laboratories supervision in the United States, Canada, Ireland, England and the Czech Republic. She gained experience in management and quality in the Phase I clinical laboratory in the Hamilton Hospital Phase I research center in the United States. In addition, she made good clinical practice and management in various international projects in Turkey on good laboratory practices. In addition, she served in executive positions in various international projects on good clinical practice and good laboratory practice in Turkey, Belgium and the United States. Since 2008, she has been working in the installation, operation and management (staff and quality) of central and hospital laboratories.
