In accordance with the Higher Education Council's (YÖK) letter dated 04.09.2020 and numbered 55362 and the decisions taken by the Senate of our University on 07.09.2020 regarding "Education Activities in the Fall Semester of the 2020-2021 Academic Year";
• It has been decided that all theoretical and practical trainings will be carried out using distance education methods in the first three years of our faculty. In years 4 and 5, all theoretical lectures of fall semesters will be held by distance education while practical trainings will be held face to face in diluted groups and by taking necessary infection prevention precautions.
• Infection control and prevention training will be given to our students in terms 4 and 5 before they start their education. These students will receive their practical education only in our hospitals and will not be sent to education and research hospitals of Ministry of Health.
• Before the start of the education period, our Dean's Office will organize online information meetings with all terms and classes, and provide necessary information on the use of the online distance education platform, the methods of theoretical and practical lectures, attendance regulations to online classes, methods of measurement-evaluation and other issues which would be raised by the students.
• The education program, which will start on October 5, 2020 in all classes, is updated within the framework of the above-mentioned decisions and will be shared with you in a short while. All above-mentioned decisions of our Faculty may be altered in line with the course of the global epidemic, the future decisions and suggestions of the Ministry of Health, YÖK and our University Senate.
